Cole Gillespie triples during a March 13 Cactus League game against the Los Angeles Dodgers. In July of 2009, the Arizona Diamondbacks acquired Gillespie and Roque Mercedes from the Milwaukee Brewers in exchange for infielder Felipe Lopez. Gillespie was selected by the Brewers in the third round of the 2006 MLB First-Year Player Draft out of Oregon State.
