Websites used: sportslogos.net 10) Why would the Boston Red Sox decide to change their logo into just the hanging socks, after the previous logo was present in two World Series? This isn't bad, but they should have stuck with their longest tenured logo in franchise history. 9) Again, this isn't a bad logo, but with a name like the Cubs, you can expect a little more. However, I understand that for traditional purposes, this is unique in its own way. It still reminds me of the Reds logo, and the Reds logo design was around slightly earlier. Either way, this isn't too bad. 8) With one of the most common names in sports, the Giants, it's fitting that they use the most common logo designs; a script in front of a baseball. 7) The Diamondbacks used to have an unique color scheme. But now it uses the second most common color in MLB, which is red. Teams like the Reds, Red Sox, and Cardinals, need red in their logos. The Diamondbacks do not. 6) Two words: Toothpaste anyone? 5) The last colors you associate with the Blue Jays is grey and black. The script looks too metallic and overdone. Their 90's logos were fine. 4) The Devil Rays had another unique color scheme in which to use. Navy blue is one of the most overused colors in MLB. Where is the manta ray? Why is there a light ray? Are they the light rays? 3 ...
