Apr. 28, 2009 (Baseball Musings delivered by Newstex ) -- The telethon to raise runs for Dan Haren worked last night as the Arizona Diamondbacks scored seven times to down the Cubs 7-2. Haren doubled, driving in two himself. That made up for the two solo shots he allowed. Haren gave up five extra base hits in his five starts, none with men on base. That makes it very tough for the opposition to drive runners around, not that they have that many. Theyre only getting on base at a .203 clip. At this rate, if the DBacks can get Dan three runs a game they have a very good chance of winning.
