MINNEAPOLIS (AP) - Arizona's Mark Reynolds left Saturday's game at Minnesota in the middle of the seventh inning after twisting his right ankle in the batter's box.
Reynolds' reaction made it look like the ball bounced off his foot, but it actually went fair and rolled all the way to third base where Brian Buscher fielded it and threw him out to end the inning. Reynolds was in too much pain to leave the box, and he hobbled to the dugout.Augie Ojeda replaced Reynolds in the field.
Manager Bob Melvin said Reynolds was all right and that he thought there was a "decent chance" he would be able to play Sunday.
