--OF Gerardo Parra, 22, has hit safely in all three of his major league games since being purchased from Class AA Mobile last Wednesday. Parra is 5-for-13 with a home run and two triples while hitting second in the order and has started all three games, two in center field in place of Chris Young and one in left in place of Eric Byrnes. Parra was hitting .361 with three homers and 12 RBI at Mobile.
--RHP Brandon Webb (shoulder) is to play catch for the third time in four days Monday after beginning a light throwing program Friday in Atlanta. He had not thrown since being shut down April 24 because of soreness behind his right shoulder. Webb started on opening day but has not pitched since. --1B/3B Chad Tracy, who was taken out of his regular role when 1B Josh Whitesell was recalled from Class AAA Reno on May 6, does not have a hit in May, going 0-for-25. His batting average has dropped from .270 to .193, although he still has seven doubles and two homers in 88 at-bats.

1B Tony Clark (strained ligament in right hand) went on the 15-day disabled list retroactive to May 5.
RHP Tom Gordon (torn left hamstring) went on the 15-day disabled list May 4.
RHP Brandon Webb (right shoulder bursitis) went on the 15-day disabled list retroactive to April 7. He threw a bullpen session April 21 but missed a session April 24 and was shut down. He threw again May 16.
