--OF Justin Upton, now a fixture in the No. 3 spot in the order, extended his career-best hitting streak to 17 games with a three-hit game Sunday. Upton is hitting .393 in his streak.
--OF Eric Byrnes had two hits in each of the D-backs' three games against Washington, and his three-RBI game was a season-high. Byrnes entered the weekend hitless in 17 at-bats before getting two singles and a stolen base Friday, although he was thrown out attempting to steal third for the second out of the eighth inning in a 5-4 loss. --SS Stephen Drew (hamstring) was to begin a rehab assignment at Class AAA Reno on Sunday after playing two games in extended spring training. Drew was eligible to return from the disabled last Saturday but is expected to play several games at Reno before being activated.

RHP Yusmeiro Petit (right shoulder strain) went on the 15-day disabled list May 9.
1B Tony Clark (strained ligament in right hand) went on the 15-day disabled list retroactive to May 5.
RHP Tom Gordon (torn left hamstring) went on the 15-day disabled list May 4.
SS Stephen Drew (left hamstring strain) went on the 15-day disabled list retroactive to April 25. He was to go on a short rehab assignment to Class AAA Reno on May 10.
RHP Brandon Webb (right shoulder bursitis) went on the 15-day disabled list retroactive to April 7. He threw a bullpen session April 21 but missed a session April 24 and was shut down. Webb is likely out until June.
