--SS Stephen Drew (hamstring) did not start Tuesday but walked in a pinch-hit appearance and is scheduled to return to the lineup Wednesday, manager Bob Melvin said. "I wanted to give him one more day," Melvin said. Drew has not played since Friday.

--RHP Brandon Webb threw 33 pitches in a bullpen session Tuesday and will throw another bullpen Friday, manager Bob Melvin said, before either facing hitters in a simulated game or going out on a rehab assignment. He has been out since April 7 after feeling soreness in his right shoulder while giving up six hits and six runs in an opening-day start against Colorado the day before. "We're throwing and we're progressing," Webb said.

--3B Mark Reynolds has four home runs in his last seven games and is one behind the group that leads the NL with five. Reynolds, who did not start on opening day, has reached base safely in 12 of the next 13 games via hit or walk.

MEDICAL WATCH:

SS Stephen Drew (sore left hamstring) left the April 17 game and didn't play April 18-20. He appeared as a pinch hitter April 21, and he is expected to start April 22.

RHP Brandon Webb (right shoulder bursitis) went on the 15-day disabled list retroactive to April 7. He threw a bullpen session April 21, and he will do so again April 24 before possibly making a rehab start.

RHP Tom Gordon (right elbow surgery in October 2008) went on the 15-day disabled list retroactive to March 27. He began a rehab assignment with Class AAA Reno on April 19, and he could return to the Diamondbacks by May 1.
