--Johnson struck out 13 batters in the contest, the most since he struck out 15 on August 31, 2004 against the Dodgers. Johnson threw 116 pitches, the most he's thrown since July 19, 2006. --RHP Brandon Webb has a bruised chest after a line drive off the bat of Kevin Kouzmanoff hit him during Thursday's game. Webb might have to move his scheduled bullpen session, but should not miss his next start.
--C Miguel Montero went 2-for-3 in the game and is now 11-for-23 (.478) in his last seven games.
--Chris Young hit his 37th double of the season in the seventh inning, third in the National League. Young was 1-for-5 in the game.
