--LHP Randy Johnson ran his scoreless streak to 16 innings with seven shutout frames in 7-2 victory over San Francisco on Sunday, his fourth straight victory and the 292nd of his career. Johnson won at AT&T Park for the first time since Aug. 16, 2002, a span of 2,203 days. He struck out two and did not walk a batter, and now has 101 strikeouts and 29 walks. "I'm making my pitches when I have to," Johnson said.
--OF Conor Jackson had hit safely in 13 of his last 14 games, with nine multiple-hit games among them, going 27-for-60 (.450) He has four doubles, a triple and four home runs in his last 10 games. "I'm feeling good," he said. --SS Stephen Drew has hit safely 12 of his last 13 games, during which he is 22-for-59 (.373). A left-handed hitter, Drew was 2-for-3 with a two-run single against Giants LHP Barry Zito on Sunday and had a two-run double against Giants LHP Jonathan Sanchez on Friday. Drew already has tied his career highs for triples (seven) and home runs (12) and with 24 doubles he's four short of his career high.
--RHP Dan Haren has made 10 consecutive quality starts, the longest current streak in the majors, and took over the NL ERA lead at 2.56 in a 10-2 victory over San Francisco on Friday. He also doubled in that game, giving him six doubles, the high for NL pitchers.
--OF Chris Young has begun to run more, with three stolen bases in his last seven games to give him eight for the season. Young had 27 stolen bases last season, when he became the first rookie in major league history with at least 30 homers (32) and 25 stolen bases. "It's something I should have been doing all year," Young said.
--RHP Juan Cruz (left oblique) pitched a 1-2-3 inning in a rehab appearance for Class AAA Tucson on Saturday and is expected to make one more rehab appearance before he rejoins the D-backs.
